Biographical Information

Despite searching multiple websites and standard print resources, I discovered no biographical information to be found about this author other than what he entrusted to us in his introduction — that he was young (a minor by our standards), and self-educated. He also gave thanks to his benefactors and signed off as "Their obedient Servant." We could deduce from this information that he did not come from a privileged background, but that he was apparently able to befriend those who could help him in his attempt at honor and privilege through poetry.
