Biographical Information
Despite searching multiple websites and standard print resources, I discovered no biographical information to be found about this author other than what he entrusted to us in his introduction that he was young (a minor by our standards), and self-educated. He also gave thanks to his benefactors and signed off as "Their obedient Servant." We could deduce from this information that he did not come from a privileged background, but that he was apparently able to befriend those who could help him in his attempt at honor and privilege through poetry.
