The English-language belles lettres portion of the "Corvey Collection":
A Seminar-Centered Overview of especially well represented novelists

The following information is provided to indicate the richness of the holdings in British fiction of the Romantic period within the "Edition Corvey" (or "corvey Collection") to which I refer in the narrative description.

The microform archive of the English-language belles lettres portion of the Corvey Collection held at the University of Nebraska contains some 3,261 titles by 1,280 different authors and amounting to some 2.15 million full-text pages. Within this English-language section, there are a total of 1,027 titles by women authors, which means that there is a wide representation of both women and men, and both "canonical" and "non-canonical" authors. The full "Edition Corvey" (i.e., counting also the French and German titles, which the University Libraries also owns) contains more than 9,000 titles from the Romantic period.
